So apparently im playing at the Christmas party for the Architectural Association. Should be interesting considering I have basically no equipment. But to make up for the boring ass show ill be playing since I dont have tables or anything else really, Im mixing a whole bunch of Christmas music in unlikely pairings. For example, I mixed “Santa’s coming to town” by jackson - with crank dat soulja boy. And now im working on “last xmas” by wham, with Kanye’s Heartless. I have a couple others already done but Im gonna keep those close to my chest. I had to put some sick edits Im working on on hold for this too. But it will be worth is when Im playing them at christmasparties in Iowa and Chi too. So yeah, the mustache stays on.
side note, when you google search “Barcelona cagefighting” we are the third result in google thanks to a post malik did a while back. Im gonna perpetuate that and write “Barcelona cagefighing” all over the place.
Well I finally got around to making a new mixtape. My plan has always been to make one at the end of every month using all the music I listen to for the past 30 days, but It hasnt worked that way yet. With this one (Dirty Pleasures) I took a different approach. Rather than worry about everything being blended and mixed seamlessly, I kinda just had fun with it.

This is like two decades old and was forgotten about until the recent electro explosion. I played it at my last show and it killed, Charlie - Spacer Woman. This is a video some fan made for it I guess.

Following up on Aarons “my dick” post - this is dirt nasty. The dyslexic speed readers include among others Mickey Avalon and Dirt Nasty. Rinee Shah makes beautiful videos. You might remember when we posted her other video that I love “little forest”. If you dont search it and watch it and give her props. This is her new video “almost” that we love.
Greg Gillis (who is Girl Talk) has finished his new album. He has created a youtube channel with all of his songs and lists all the samples he uses. I am not sure how I feel about this. For one it is a diligent effort by Willis to be open about all the samples he uses, but on the other hand I feel like it discredits him. If he wants to be considered a serious musician I think he shouldn’t have listed every sample and effect he used. After all, Radiohead doesnt feel it is necessary to list every instrument they use.
None the less Girl Talk is good. Greg Gillis’ new album is tight.
